CONCEPT & TUTORIAL:

You have crash landed, and your ship is all but destroyed. Luckily you have two drop pods that landed with you: A scrap converter which can build new weapons, and a radar dish to call for help. However, it may attract unwanted attention... Collect scrap dropped from enemies to get stronger and try to escape! (As of time of writing you cannot escape yet. My bad.)

WASD to move, Space to jump (variable based on press time), Shift to dash, G to drop right weapon, R to reload, You can dual wield; F to swap left/right weapons, E to interact, CTRL to crouch

Shift + Space = Rocket boost

Description:

Single player rogue lite wave shooter made in 72 hours for

Mini Jam 186: Evolution

I had so many ideas I wanted to implement that I just couldn't do. Especially regarding the super scuffed progression system. I'll probably end up updating this game later down the line.

Strong visual style. Gameplay needs work. Ignoring constantly playing on the same map, and same enemies, because I know it's a small game. Gameplay loop itself is a little addicting, but in 15 minutes you experience everything. I also feel like you're not earning enough scrap, and the fact that there is no upgrade to autocollect, hurts the experience. Shoot > Run around to collect scrap > Shoot more > collect > earn barely enough for the next gun.

Thank you so much for your review! I watched your video playthrough and oof yeah there's a lot I could work on. I do plan on releasing an update to this game and I'll be sure to work in your criticisms. Thank you for the level of detail, and thank you again for playing. It really means a lot!
